.New Additions to my Fine Art Fashion Portfolio.

Here are a few new shots for my portfolio class final this term. This project was a BLAST to work on. Loved working with all the models and being the stylist and art director for myself. I'm so obsessed with the creative process it's not even funny. It always amazes me when an idea starts in my head, then I'll sketch and try to do a little "pre-visualization" and get more ideas on paper, then I line up the shoot with the people and clothes and locations I want and...... VOILA!!!! There you have it, my entire creative process over the past week...... enjoy.

.I'm obsessed with sunsets. I love how beautiful and breathtaking they are. I love the colors, the feel and the mood of each and every individual sunset. Seriously, I'm obsessed, especially around the Gorge, they are ALWAYS incredible. These shots are from a couple night's ago looking down the Columbia River.

.Michael Grecco Lecture.

So, celebrity and fashion photographer Michael Grecco is coming to my school to do a lecture/presentation next Wednesday!!! YAY!!!! I'm stoked. We (PRO PHOTO) students get a meet and greet for a couple hours for personal/photography questions prior to the actual event. :) This is going to be really rad. All of you (in Oregon) should try to make it out for this event.

WOW.... You guys, seriously these are some super old photos from my first trip to Europe, and it was on THIS TRIP that I FELL IN LOVE WITH PHOTOGRAPHY. All I had at this point was my little IXY digital pocket Canon, and my brother's old school Pentax film camera I had borrowed. So, these are some of my favorite photos from Paris, and London. Oh my gosh... bringin' back the memories.... this trip was like 3 years ago.... SO CRAZY, but I think my photography has totally taken off since then.... I mean look at these.... geez louise, talk about photograhy hobbyist. LOL!!!! I've added some actions and effects onto these now, I just love the memories behind these photographs. These are from a very monumental point in my photographic history. :) LOVE IT!!!! ENJOY!!!!

This boy is so stinking cute!!!! I miss my newest little nephew. He'll be back in Hood River for another visit in June (YAY)... Stinking A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!!

.TOTALLY RAD.

So, I've been researching and watching tons of turorials on photoshop and layers and actions etc. I am slowly learning to be a Photoshop Goddess just like Bethany , it's hard work, but everyday I'm learning more and more and applying more and more, so I feel like my photography takes on new dimensions into the VAST PSD world daily. I love learning, and application is the best part. The computer side of digital photography is the hardest part for me because I LOVE being around my clients and doing the SOCIAL aspect of my job is by far the easiest for me. :) I'm definitely NOT a tech nerd. But I'm working on improving my skills..... photoshop skills, blogging skills, turorial skills, batching skills,.... Guys like girls with SKILLS!!!!!! HAHAHA..... okay enough on this post, I've gotta step away from the screen and go for a run!!!! Peace and Love!! ~Sarah

.prom 2008.

So, this is so much fun, a few of my seniors (senior portraits), hello... I'm definetly NOT old enough to have an 18 year old of my own... hehehe. Anyways, a few of my seniors went to prom and asked me if I could shoot some *not so traditional* prom pics of them before the dance. Sara, JJ, Hailey and Ben all double dated for the evening and they looked AWESOME!!! Girls, you looked GORGEOUS!!! No offense to JJ and Ben who looked very hansom as well. I had so much fun shooting out in JJ's orchard with all the blossoms in full bloom. Thanks you guys!!!! Good luck Sara on Prom Court 2008.

.Fashion Funky Stuff.

So, I've been SUPER into the funky fine art stuff..... I love it. I love using textures and colors and bumping the saturation and contrast on my fashion stuff..... This is the latest stuff I've been editing through for some portfolio work. I am SO close to graduating school and I'm getting SUPER STOKED on becoming a real live (as in full time) photographer. I can't wait to just do my own shoots and bookings instead of school stuff. :) :) :)
